For the plastic box injection mold cavity, wiping it with alcohol is recommended. In case of rust, it is essential to polish it using polishing paste and then wipe it with alcohol. Cleaning the waterways can be done by blowing air or using water with a descaling agent. The condenser channel can be directly connected with an iron wire. If dealing with rust, abrasive paste is necessary for effective cleaning.
One effective way to remove dust from injection molds is by using ice cleaning. This method utilizes dry ice particles, which are extremely cold, combined with compressed gas to spray and dissolve the surface contaminants. The low temperatures cause the dirt to freeze, making it brittle and easily broken. When the dry ice particles enter the cracks and crevices of the dirt, they undergo rapid gasification, expanding in volume by nearly 600 times. This expansion helps dislodge and carry away the dirt, leaving the mold surface clean and free of dust.
